Transportation

Some Longview residents choose to bring their cars with them, but for those who do not, there are plenty of options.

• Gadabout, a local volunteer van service, provides roundtrip transportation to local destination, such as doctor’s visits, for a small fee.
• Local TCAT buses provide service to Longview’s door, taking residents to almost any Ithaca location, including stores, including WalMart and KMart, on Route 13, The Pyramid Mall, and the Ithaca Commons.
• A daily shuttle service from our door to Ithaca College is available for residents who want to take advantage of the many college classes and activities they offer.
• Longview’s recreation department provides transportation in the Longview van for scheduled shopping trips and local events.
